Functieomschrijving

As a Client Analyst Intern, you'll support experienced Analytical Consultants and collaborate with our clients in the FMCG industry. You'll also:

  • Assisting in preparing analyses and presentations for well-known brands in supermarkets, drugstores, gas stations, and liquor stores. Examples of analyses include category and brand research on the performance of brands or retailers in terms of sales and market share. We also explain the "why" question: do sales increase or decrease due to a company's product range, price, or promotional strategy?
  • Support our Client Service Online team in setting up and maintaining client reports in which we track our clients' performance (e.g. sales, market share, promotional pressure, price level, etc.);
  • be part of specific analytical team projects.

Functie-eisen

     

    • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
    • A relevant bachelor's degree, such as Business Economics/Administration, Marketing Management/Analytics/Intelligence, or a similar field. You must have valid student status enrolled at a Dutch educational institution.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Genuine interest in the marketing of food, household and personal care products (FMCG industry).
    • Good skills in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
    • An eye for detail and accuracy.
    • Full-time availability for a period of 6 months.

    We offer an internship where you'll be fully integrated into our daily work. We'll provide valuable initial work experience, allowing you to learn how companies use market intelligence, specifically how brands and categories are analyzed. Experience with NielsenIQ data is a perfect start if you're pursuing a career in brand management, sales, (trade) marketing, category management, or market research.
