Job Description
Complete survey programming of all assigned projects using required methodologies which ensure electronic data collection projects run smoothly with high quality and on-time delivery. Identify opportunities to automate and streamline programming activities which increase efficiency, quality, and financial performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support internal automation and platform development to create greater standardization and efficiency.
- Implement new programming tools or changes to existing tools.
- Ensure all work follows local and global standards and processes.
- Develop standard scripts and templates as needed.
- Negotiate timelines for quick turnaround projects.
- Track and find root cause of programming errors and develop and implement action plans.
- Learn new platforms and platform updates as available.
- Maintain effective communication with all internal and external team members.
- Act as local administrator for Survey Programming (SP) platforms including management of local user pool on all SP platforms; test and deploy updates, informing all stakeholders as needed.
- Provide subject matter expertise to Programmers.
- Plan and conduct training, when needed.
- Work on new process development and deployment, process improvements, and process changes.
Qualifications
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Proficient in both written and verbal English (preferred)
Strong technical aptitude, with a background in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Automation (preferred)
Expertise with current custom insights programming platforms such as Decipher, Dimension, and Survey-to-Go
Able to work on complex projects and prioritize tasks effectively
A logical thinker
Hybrid working environment: Required to be at the office 2 days per week
High sense of accountability and initiative
A continuous learner
Familiarity with any of the following: VBA, ASP, .NET, Java, Python, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
Capable of working with any of the following front-end JavaScript frameworks: jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, etc.
