Operations Project Manager

Company Description
Project Manager should act as the owner of assigned projects for internal stakeholders, being responsible for the E2E project implementation. Organizing, planning, coordinating and facilitating the execution of projects/ Progragms from Operations across different areas and countries in latam or outside.
The PM will be able to develop efficient tactics to address any issues/roadblocks. The PM will also oversee the progress of tasks associated with the identified work streams to ensure compliance deadlines.The PM must be demanding and attentive to details, evaluating at all times that the standards of excellence are met and be able to identify faults to make a timely decision.
Job Description
- Based on agreed scope and in liaison with the project team and stakeholders, plan a project including appropriate milestones and tasks with assigned responsibility.
- Communicate agreed project plans with all relevant parties and report any deviation from the plan during execution of the project.
- Coordinate project team throughout the project life and liaise with relevant resource managers regarding roles, performance and workload of project team members to ensure that adequate resources are assigned to meet the project deadlines.
- Identify and manage risks and issues throughout the life of a project. Ensure all stakeholders and project team are aware of the risks and appropriate actions are taken to minimize them and resolve issues.
- Ensure the process change management to properly handover the project to BAU.
- Identify and implement any additional procedures /processes required to successfully deliver the assigned projects.
- Manage all project/program documentation, including project plans, risk/issue logs and status reports, and ensure that all documents are regularly updated and readily available.
- At the end of the project, lead project evaluation discussions with appropriate parties and ensure that lessons learned are documented
Qualifications
- Effective communication: create good communication channels and ensure that all the agents involved in the project know and are clear about their role in planning. Ensure all stakeholders have full clarity about project commitments and be regularly informed about the status, risks and issues.
- Leadership: lead and motivate the team to work and achieve goals. Guide the team with quick and precise decision-making, establishing compliance deadlines.
- Risk Management: must have the experience and ability to pinpoint what could go wrong and implement a risk mitigation strategy. They must be able to ask their team hard questions and continually confirm timelines, decisions and dependencies. They should also know how to use professional risk management tools that allow them to analyze potential risks to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Problem-solving: must be able to gather information, weigh the associated pros and cons and then formulate the best solution. Strong problem-solving skills will allow project managers to have a structured approach to solving problems to achieve a positive result.
- Domain of techniques for project management.
- PMP certification is requiered
- Experience: Project Management for at least 5 years
- Language Skills: Spanish, English (fluent)
- Nice to have: Knowledge: Understanding of Nielsen Products, Operations and customer perception of value.
