About This Job
Turn complexity into simplicity and show clients how to optimize their trade spend, pricing, and promotional activities while improving their Route-to-Market strategies. This role combines expertise in Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Route-to-Market (RTM) analytics to deliver advanced consulting solutions to FMCG manufacturers and retailers.
You will manage end-to-end projects, consult clients on pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies, and help them maximize ROI through actionable insights. Our strength lies in translating modelled outputs into clear recommendations and activating those insights in our clients’ businesses through a consultative approach.
You are a consultative, client-facing individual with some experience managing complex projects and using your skills to solve problems. Ideally, you have experience working with analytic consulting and specifically pricing/promotional modelling, or a similar field. You’ll be able to communicate complexity in a simple way and have relevant qualifications to back it up.
Importantly, you are a team player, a fast learner, and can stand on your own two feet when managing projects and advising clients on how and why analytics can help improve the way they spend their trade budget. This role may suit either someone who is adept at how to apply econometric modelling to solve real-world trade problems, or an effective project manager with a strong understanding of analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end project management and client consulting
- 100% client-facing and client-interactive role
- Build insights and present to clients
- Understand client business questions through constant interaction
- Ensure projects are closed with client satisfaction by quality delivery and expectation management
- Clear understanding of Route-to-Market and Revenue Growth Management products
- Ability to link NIQ solutions to client business questions and assist clients to frame business questions better
- Internally get jobs done from cross-team to get raw data reports on time (sending right scope/briefing/managing timeline/facilitating correct output)
- Maintain clear chain of communication across internal teams and clients to set the right expectations
- Conduct face-to-face presentations or workshops to explain pricing, promotion, and trade optimization strategies
- Translate modelled outputs into actionable insights and sound recommendations
- Perform quantitative analysis with superior attention to detail when reporting research findings
- Partner with internal commercial teams to support solution selling and revenue targets
- Regular status updates and faster acknowledgment of client needs to build strong engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in insights, analytics, or client-facing roles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to derive insights from data and simplify complex concepts
- Maturity to handle client communication and engagement, with effective expectation management
- Ability to manage end-to-end project delivery with quality and foresight
- Experience in FMCG industry (manufacturer or retailer) or research-related industry experience (insights/category/shopper/agency) is preferred
- Knowledge of pricing and promotion analytics, RGM principles, and RTM strategies
- Familiarity with analytical techniques and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
