Job Description
Responsible for leading the Intelli-geo BAU process including ETL, modeling execution,result validation and platform/offline delivery.
This role involves working closely with PL/Ops/Tech team on model enhancement, process improvement, and being responsible for leading ad hoc analytical modeling projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To lead the ETL/modeling process of Intelli-geo BAU and continuously improve process efficiency within area of responsibility.
To manage ad hoc Intelli-geo & CP 1.0 project delivery and guide junior team members on platform set-up & result validation
To manage the technical and statistical parts of Intelli-geo BAU & Ad hoc projects
To support commercial teams in the initial project design and answer technical questions that may arise in results presentation to clients.
Lead related ad hoc modeling projects and support other analytics projects if necessary.
Qualifications
BA/BS in statistics/maths related background has 3-5 years statistic modeling /data scientist working experiences.
Being familiar with Python is necessary.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL is necessary.
Solid statistic knowledge and has capability to design new methodology.
Good understanding of frequently used Machine Learning Algorithm (e.g., decision tree, random forest, SVM, XGBOOST, network analysis, etc.)
Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and project management skills are needed.
Experience using Spark/Pyspark would be preferred.
Experience working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.) would be a plus.
Experience using Arcgis or QGIS would be a plus.
Experience in FMCG / Retail industry would be a plus.
