Job Description
NielsenIQ has developed along the years a strategic relationship with retailers in Spain and has become the market tracking and benchmark standard for them. Along with this regular performance and market information, NielsenIQ has developed a wide portfolio of solutions covering different retailer needs: assortment definition, shelf space management, pricing analytics, promotions efficiency and others.
This is why a dedicated Retailer Sales team is in charge of selling these solutions to retailers, helping them to look for improvement opportunities in their business. This Retailer Sales team has the responsibility of getting their revenue targets by identifying retailer needs and selling NielsenIQ retailer portfolio.
Retailer Sales team should also work with Customer Success team and Product Experts to deliver on these revenue targets, maintaining our excellent relationship with them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieving revenue targets by client and brand
Maintaining an excellent relationship with retailers specially at C-level
Introduction of NielsenIQ new solutions to retailers
Full responsibility on the development of the Joint Business Plan with retailers to reach our objectives, including success metrics
Account Business Development, including up-selling and cross-selling
Coordination with Customer Success, Product Expert and Operations teams, both at local and international level
Coordination with Retailer Vertical team at international level
Continuous training and in-depth knowledge of NielsenIQ retailer's portfolio
Regular contact and excellent relationship with market stakeholders like AECOC, Media agencies, etc
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

You will be willing to work in a collaborative environment within the Retailer Sales team and with other NIQ teams, local and international.
OUR NEW TEAM MEMBER WILL HAVE:
Good understanding of the dynamics of the FMCG business
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales of solutions or advanced information services to FMCG retailers and / or manufacturers
Familiar with the specs and usage of retail tracking business services within the market
Skillful in driving client interest and new business through creative proposal- and solution creation resulting in high client satisfaction level.
Easy connecting with clients and ability to build and maintain own network among assigned clients
Both short-term and long-term results oriented
Excellent communication skills, ability to read other’s styles and adapt behavior accordingly.
Fluent in Spanish and English
