Position Title: DA e-comm Vendor Management Lead - Asia
Reports to: DA CoE Global Leader
Business Unit: Consumer Intelligence - Data Acquisition
Location: Vadodara, India
Job Purpose
- This role works closely with in-market eCommerce PL, Commercial, Dsci, Ops, Tech, Finance, Procurement & Legal teams, and is accountable for onboarding ecommerce third party vendors, and ensuring compliance improvement in overall processes related to vendor scouting, RFP, evaluation, onboarding, negotiations, and contracting.
- Post vendor contract execution, this role is responsible for maintaining day-to-day relationships with the vendors, carrying out detailed discussions aimed at performance improvement against the required performance criteria per project and optimizing related vendor expenses against the set budgets.
- They will be conducting regular reviews with Internal stakeholders and Vendors and drive specific. Quality improvement goals for the Vendor including any change management pertaining to data receipt (content, format, advance notice on changes impacting data deliveries to NIQ).
- This role will also be the SPOC for all Ecommerce vendor engagements in respective geographies to provide regular updates w.r.t. in-market progress on vendor relationships, and BAU KPIs (sourced from Ops) to regional leadership.
Job Responsibilities
Vendor Management (Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Development):
- Participate and support the Vendor accreditation process development at global level with Ops, Transformation, & DSci.
- Work with Product, Dsci, Procurement, & Legal teams to onboard third-party ecommerce vendors within anticipated timelines.
- Participate in vendor negotiations, as an observer, and raise issues in due time for remedial actions to Product, & COE leadership.
- Support PL and DSci, to drive any on-ground conversations with the vendors related to data collection methodology, improvements, data quality, completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
- Establish and maintain a close relationship with Vendors and act as a point of contact between vendors and NIQ.
- Facilitate vendors in being up to speed with NIQ systems and processes involved in procurement (Ariba), Payments (P2P process), Payment timelines (Invoice date + ‘x’ days). - Closely monitor vendor landscape for eCommerce in your assigned geography, and work with concerned stakeholders on creating back up vendor pools for critical projects/products.

Role Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s in any stream (preferably mathematics, statistics, science, or economics)
- 3-5 years of experience in market research domains
- Exposure to Ariba or similar tools used in procurement
- Excellent communication & negotiations skills.
- Professional fluency in English and local language.
- Sound business acumen
