Job Description
The Post Production team ensures the quality of large volumes of marketing images through checking image quality, airbrushing imperfections, and adhering to bespoke art directions using specially designed in-house techniques.
This role includes standard image processing and QA, customer rejection resolution, completing Express and Priority products, workflow tasks, and ad-hoc airbrushing or content checking tasks as needed. The Post Production Associate will also prioritize workloads to ensure the department delivers on daily KPIs, under guidance from the Post Production Manager and Workflow Coordinator.
This role involves close collaboration across our Imaging Department and with the wider NIQ Brandbank business via various communication portals.
Note: This is an in-office role.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high-volume image quality and maintain consistency in presentation, colour, and airbrushing across products as per NIQ Brandbank specifications.
- Apply image editing techniques to resolve common product/pack photography issues and review client-supplied files for suitability, providing constructive feedback.
- Prioritise workloads to meet SLAs, KPIs, and urgent requests; report and respond to queries from internal teams and shared mailboxes within agreed timelines.
- QC outsourced images, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Develop and apply new editing techniques (e.g., Photoshop actions) to improve efficiency and support content creation for new/ongoing imaging services.
Work flexibly across Imaging sub-functions, sharing knowledge, escalating issues, and contributing to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience preferred in post production, design agency, creative studio, or photography environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant subject or equivalent practical experience with advanced Photoshop expertise; wider Adobe Suite knowledge desirable.
- Experience with studio/product photography and use of Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong organisation, time management, and ability to deliver high-quality work at speed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative team player.
- Knowledge of post production processes/studio workflows with keen attention to detail.
- Passionate about imaging, adaptable under pressure, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Flexible to take on additional duties as required.
