Senior Retail Manager - Loyalty & Collaboration
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and data-driven professional to support the implementation and commercial success of NIQ Activate for a major Romanian retailer. This role blends customer service and sales enablement, requiring both technical understanding of loyalty platforms and strong commercial acumen.
You will be the key contact for the retailer post-implementation, ensuring smooth operations and high engagement with the platform. At the same time, you will support our sales team in driving manufacturer adoption and collaboration through Activate.
Key Responsibilities
Retailer Support & Customer Success
- Serve as the main point of contact for the retailer using NIQ Activate.
- Ensure successful onboarding, training, and platform adoption.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
- Translate retailer needs into actionable feedback for internal teams.
Sales Enablement & Manufacturer Collaboration
- Support the sales team in engaging FMCG manufacturers with Activate.
- Help manufacturers understand and leverage platform capabilities for targeted campaigns and personalized offers.
- Assist in preparing presentations and proposals tailored to manufacturer needs.
- Facilitate collaboration between retailer and suppliers using Activate modules:
- Customer segmentation & analytics
- Promotion & assortment optimization
Data-Driven Execution
- Quickly understand and interpret loyalty data and platform metrics.
- Use insights to improve campaign performance and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure CRM accuracy and contribute to sales forecasting.
Qualifications
- Experience in loyalty program management, preferably in FMCG retail.
- Strong understanding of retail data, customer behavior, and promotional strategies.
- Commercial mindset with ability to support sales engagements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and tech-savvy, with fast learning ability.
- Fluent in Romanian and English.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with NIQ Activate or similar platforms.
- Experience working with both retailers and manufacturers.
- Background in retail media, data-driven marketing, or customer analytics.
