Mid-Level BI Analyst/Developer  Chennai/Pune India 

Responsibilities

• You actively keep informed of industry developments to make use of new and emerging tools and technologies 
    
  You will be involved in: 
• Supporting business functions to maximise the value of their data assets through visualisations and reporting tools such as Power BI. 
• Working alongside stakeholders and the PO to identify appropriate and necessary data and reporting requirements to generate relevant and meaningful insights to uncover hidden value 
• Working with data engineers to determine and locate appropriate data sources that meet stakeholder requirements 
• Creating reports/visualisation from stories/tasks 
• Understanding and interpreting reporting data to help find insights, patterns and trends that everyone can understand 
• Managing the provisioning for Power BI accounts on Dev, Staging and Production 
• Monitoring support channel and act as FPOC to resolve data reporting queries from internal users 
• Liaising with the Product Owner, Data Engineers and other development teams when necessary to resolve issues 
• Contributing as required to major incidents 

• Degree in a related subject (or equivalent combination of skills and experience) 
• 3+ years working within a BI analysis/developer environment 
• Previous experience with Power BI and other data visualisation techniques to interpret requirements and present as clear, compelling and actionable stories 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Logical and creative thinking 
• Knowledge of relational databases, design and data models 
• Must have technical skills: SQL (Intermediate or Advance), Power BI
