About job:

As a QA-Engineer at Byzzer, NielsenIQ’s data intelligence platform for emerging CPG brands, you will collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of scalable web applications and microservices. You’ll design and maintain automation frameworks, validate APIs, and support CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and technologies. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, TestNG, Java, and SQL. 

  • Automated UI and API test cases for web applications and microservices. 

  • Perform manual testing to validate new features and regression scenarios. 

  • Collaborate in Agile teams to ensure high-quality releases. 

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps). 

  • Conduct backend and database testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity. 

  • Build utilities and tools to streamline QA processes and improve test coverage. 

  • Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and contribute to QA best practices 

Tech Stack & Tools: 

  • Languages & Frameworks: Java, Playwright, TestNG 

  • Testing: UI & API Automation, Manual Testing, SQL 

  • CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub, GCP 

  • Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL 

  • Practices: Agile, SDLC, QA Methodologies 

  • Collaboration Tools: JIRA, Confluence 

Additional Skills: 

  • Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms 

  • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) 

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments 

  • Background in retail or CPG domain is a plus 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
