NielsenIQ’s Sales team is focused on growing revenue, finding new business opportunities and market penetration. Sales is NielsenIQ’s growth engine which is instrumental for the company’s success.
You will drive the overall sales, renewals, and commercial EBITDA in your scope; you will secure a sustainable sales pipeline developing new revenue opportunities while maintaining close customer relationships for existing accounts.
Job Description
As an Account Developer – Supply Chain at NIQ, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of a proven, innovative solution that connects manufacturers with distributors and wholesale retailers. This role is key to expanding our presence in the supply chain and trade marketing ecosystem across LATAM.
You will act as a strategic partner to manufacturers of different industries, including but not limited to Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Consumer Electronics and Domestic Appliances, helping them leverage our platform to gain visibility into inventory flow, pricing, and sales performance across the distribution chain.
You will be part of a growing vertical and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for building the geographic expansion plan for the solution across LATAM.
Lead commercial efforts for a new supply chain solution targeting manufacturers and distributors.
Identify and engage key stakeholders in manufacturing companies from different industries to promote the value of our platform.
Translate complex supply chain data into actionable insights for clients.
Collaborate with internal teams in Brazil and other markets to ensure successful onboarding and training.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in sales, trade marketing, or supply chain roles within FMCG or retail industries.
Proven experience selling to manufacturers and understanding distributor-retailer dynamics.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and commercial planning.
Experience in consulting or in selling data-driven solutions is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Preferred Background
Experience working with companies where the distributor model is key to expanding their sales, such as Diageo, Nestlé, Kimberly-Clark, or similar.
Background in trade marketing or commercial strategy.
Familiarity with platforms like Dunnhumby or similar supply chain solutions.
