Job Description

Accountabilities

  • Ensure assigned responsibilities are conducted to time and quality expectations
  • Ensure thorough understanding of and compliance to Nielsen’s research processes and workflow
  • Support manager on day-to-day project execution i.e. designing / changing inputs in the questionnaire, link testing etc.
  • Demonstrate full ownership of assigned tasks and projects from start to finish, ensuring a high level of attention to detail throughout.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure timely and proactive communication with partner divisions like data processing, data collection, Vendors & Other teams to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Ensure that materials to Ops & other support teams are sent on schedule and thoroughly checked for errors
  • Proactive communications during project lifecycle to managers /clients as appropriate e.g. status report updates, highlighting database issues etc.
  • Attend client presentations with the manager to support as required

Qualifications

Role Expectations (Knowledge & Skillsets)

  • 2-3 years relevant working experience. Experience in Market Research with the quantitative research projects is a must. Experience in the telecom sector is good to have but not mandatory.
  • Strong clients focus & understanding of research techniques to enable meaningful conversations with all client stakeholders and ensure accurate representation of the data in reporting and insights.
  • Understanding of analysis tools and data interpretation, excellent numerical skills
  • Skills: Analysis, report writing, presentation   
    • Ability to draft questionnaires based on client brief and proposal
    • Write Analysis plan & develop charting templates
    • Effectively brief charting & tabulation teams on the project requirements
    • Checking the data tables and charts to spot errors
    • Drafting reports & commentaries
    • Ability to work seamlessly on MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
