Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Front End Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building intuitive, responsive, and performant user interfaces for our web applications. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to bring ideas to life—whether from detailed wireframes or from high-level concepts and user stories. A key part of your work will involve developing and enhancing online survey experiences, ensuring they are engaging, accessible, and optimized across devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features using Angular.
- Build reusable components and libraries to support scalable front-end development.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Angular.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Additional Information
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Angular CLI (Webpack-based), and an understanding of build optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and web performance best practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
- Experience with UNICOM Intelligence (formerly IBM SPSS Data Collection) survey scripting.
