Job Description
The Project Quotation Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and timely costing for all RFQs and expanded project work in the assigned geography. This detail is provided based on available rate cards or with direct engagement to vendor contacts and must be completed following set Service Level Agreements to support the project bidding process. Partners with the Vendor Management team on the development and execution of vendor management strategy. Tracks and updates the quotation costs within timelines to support project specification changes. Review and alert the Vendor Management COE Leader of capacity / completion concerns and partner on sourcing opportunities. Monitoring vendor billing upon project completion.
Responsibilities
- Engage in vendor operations including pricing discussions and negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and financial performance for the assigned geography.
- Execute vendor management strategy for the assigned geography, providing measurable impact and insights.
- Act as liaison with third party vendors to maintain positive business relationships and monitor supplier performance.
- Execute all assigned quality, cost optimization, and productivity improvement programs.
- Coordinate within Operations and with Commercial and Product for any vendor escalations within the assigned geography.
- Ensure all work performed meets product and business standards and SLAs (service level agreements).

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills including command of English (both verbal and written).
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Keen eye for details on project quote specifications.
- Ability to negotiate costs and terms with vendors and stakeholders.
- Able to work with a wide variety of people and establish/maintain successful business relationships.
- Experience working with third party vendors and relationship management a plus.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
