Job Description

Summary of Role

 

The world of media research is changing rapidly and increasingly combines traditional search systems with advanced digital methodologies. GfK is the leader in Italy of research on media, especially radio and multimedia, and is looking for young researchers/ women to grow in the sector. 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

• The researcher must grasp the different research methodologies on means

• It must become a solid leadership on GfK’s research in the media field with the ability to manage the production and delivery of research data; in particular:

  •  Analysis and interpretation of data from GfK surveys on media research, with a focus on radio and multimedia
  • Management of internal operations: scripting, field and data processing
  • Management of relationships with stakeholders: customers, audit firms, software houses, technology partners, etc.

• Must become able to analyze the market situation and identify development opportunities for the Institute.  

 

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of work experience
  • Knowledge of the media sector
  • Office package and ideally statistical/database analysis software
  • Interest in the sociological aspects of behaviour
  • Enthusiasm and passion for research
  • Attention to detail and pursuit of quality
  • Focus on the client
  • Research knowledge and understanding
  • Able to build and deliver tailored presentations, using a storyline approach
  • Thinks outside the box and challenges where necessary
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Immediately available for Maternity leave cover 12 months
