Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tracking and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue performance by region, client segment, and product line.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and provide regular updates on conversion rates, deal velocity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Support the development of gap-to-budget analysis, highlighting variances between actuals, forecast, and targets.
  • Maintain and update sales dashboards and performance reports using tools such as Excel, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or Power BI
  • Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure data alignment across CRM, budgeting, and invoicing systems.
  • Prepare materials for pipeline and business review meetings, including summaries, charts, and trend analysis.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose improvements to support sales productivity.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency in the CRM system, and assist with data cleansing.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from Sales, Marketing, and Leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or related majors.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, or related functions (internships count).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups) and Powerpoint.  
  • A plus for individuals with working knowledge of CRM platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills; attention to detail is a must.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and presenting data in a clear, insightful manner.
  • Clear logic, strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks.
  • Result oriented, with the ability to actively learn and adapt quickly.
  • Interest in the market research or professional services industry is a plus.
  • English proficiency is a must

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Sales Operations Analyst to join our team at NIQ China, a leading provider of market research and insights. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, supporting commercial teams, and contributing to the optimization of sales processes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing revenue performance, tracking pipeline health, and identifying gaps to budget. You will support the Sales and Account Management teams by delivering reports and insights that help drive business decisions.
