Job Description

Skills and Experience: 

  • Hands on experience building complex BI solutions, including one or more of the following: Discover / 3rd party BI dashboards & reports, data warehouses, ETL processes, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in business intelligence, data, and analytics concepts 

  • Comfortable leading a wide range of client engagements, including requirements gathering sessions, quarterly business reviews, status and delivery meetings, and other engagement types as assigned 

  • Motivated, self-starter who operates autonomously under sometimes ambiguous conditions; not afraid to push for clarity and hold people accountable 

  • Builds networks and is skilled at lead by influence and using delegation to get things done – effectively manages up, down, and across  

  • Skilled people leader with a passion for managing our associates toward high performance. Previous significant people leadership experience (5+ years) 

  • Expertise leading large, complex, transformative projects; is well versed in the practical application of project management concepts  

  • Familiar working with onshore and Global associates, including Growth Centers 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Acts as subject matter expert on their assigned region; works hard to stay current in understanding the environment in which their clients are operating  

  • Accountable for creating a high performing team – owns hiring, performance management, and ensuring associates are working at the top of their license and have opportunities for continued career growth 

  • Leads a variety of client engagements for BI that result in the generation of incremental revenue; plays a critical role in achievement of our annual incremental revenue target 

  • Ensures client work is delivered on time and according to spec, without errors, ideally under promising and overdelivering on customer expectations 

  • Creates and executes against a strategic roadmap for their vertical; proactively seeks opportunities and weighs risks to enhance value creation for our clients 

  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with both internal and external colleagues and customers; invests time in strategic networking  

  • Partners with leadership on the development of new BI products & services 

  • Achieves any committed cost savings goals and for ensuring we’re practicing Right Work in the Right Place with our Growth Centers team 

  • Identifies opportunities for increased partnership across NIQ teams  

  • Actively anticipates in the account planning process 

  • Is mission-driven and passionate about serving a purpose and driving value for client business   

  • Is aware of market conditions and client business environment
