Job Description
This role requires this BO Associate to be the local country representative for the BO HUB. This includes all collection services, collection applications & tools, vendors for the cluster by working with Onsite backoffice resources, COE and Delivery leads.
Familiarize vendors and vendor details,with different stakeholders while working on their services, their performance, payment timelines, exceptions, nuances etc. for each country under your cluster in coordination with onsite HUB resources & local Delivery lead in order to achieve seamless delivery from them. The position requires smooth execution of Offsite BO Activities and complete control over tasks as per SOPs & SLAs related to projects, performance KPIs, queries specific to DA backoffice in coordination with Onsite HUB resources / local Delivery lead/resources.
Any asset management at local country level including trouble shooting, replacement and other asset management tasks. Understand country level exceptioins, timelines, requirements etc in detail together with onsite HUB resources for future Standardization & Automation
Responsibilities
- Ensure E2E execution of payment processing happens for each vendor in timely manner in order to expect seamless deliverables from vendors. This is to be done thru Malaysia BO resources
- Organize regular engagement calls with local finance, local stakeholders, key vendors to understand their concerns & also HUB area of interest (pain points) and work on finding simpler & eficient solutions to it
- Ensure E2E Project Management activities as outlines in DA BO SOP is executed in timely manner. This is to be done working with right stakeholders and support from Malaysia BO resources
- Look for optimization opportunities on a continual basis
- Engage continuously with key stakeholders and create an environment that drives and promotes integrity and company values
- Lead continuous improvements initiatives
- Remain aware about country level exceptions, nuances, risks, challenges, timelines while working on vendor payment processing
- Anticipate challenges, risks and raise them HUB Leader / Cluster Delivery lead
Qualifications
Our Backoffice Hub Leader has a highly effective communication skills matched with good presentation, has the talent on influencing skills, and its committed with the integrity. You should have the ability to engage and manage key stakeholders at country level and performs effectively with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
Requirements
- +5 years of working experience in Data Acquisition, with +3 years working as People Manager preferred
- Proficiency in Business English
- Appropriately models and reflects the Nielsen values
- Result oriented with aptitude for continuous process improvements
- Comfortable working with data and numbers as well as collecting and reporting information
- Professional maturity in relation to others and to work, which enable effectiveness while dealing with pressures and difficulties of a dynamic work environment
- Business acumen with strong organization skills
- Good understanding of operational metrics
- Technically savvy to work on analytical tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

- Multi country market knowledge
- Multi country language proficiency is preferred
- Product knowledge
- NIQ Internal Resources (nice to have)Knowledge of Field Audit Methodology, CDAR tools and processes
