Job Description
NielsenIQ Sales Force Activation solutions help clients eliminate retail blind spots so they can achieve sustainable sales growth. Our solutions help clients expand and optimize their channel distribution and execute their perfect store strategy.
Some of the solutions under SFA are store census, in-store execution tracking, store observation retail tracking, custom panels and retailer interviews. Our solutions are carefully designed and customized to client needs, allowing you to work across diverse industries
This role will be responsible for managing the business in three markets, i.e. Philippines, Vietnam and Myanmar but the role is based in Manila, Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
- End to End commercial responsibility for SFA across SEA Emerging markets.
- Achieve revenue target for the cluster and sustainable double-digit revenue growth year on year
- Drive commercial excellence
- Ensure visibility & accountability to the pipeline, risks & opportunities quarter by quarter, month by month.
- Manage sellers using Leading Performance Indicators
- Ensure a culture of relentless prospecting into sales routine
- Overall accountability of creating and implementing business strategies (short and long-term) to achieve desired results
- Lead the Operating Plan & Review process for geographic scope
- Grow the business in a sustainable way:
- Increase Subscription contracts and retain existing subscribers
- Increase Syndicated sales which drive profitability
- Grow non-FMCG opportunities
- Personally lead prospecting and proposal preparation for key initiatives, new clients or strategic big-value bets.
- Help negotiate costings internally
- Be able to establish connections with new clients or pitch to senior-level clients
- Be a role model to sellers by being involved in business development
- Represent the SFA team in front of other key stakeholders in the organization (Cluster MDs, other Business Unit Leads, Operations leader, Product Leader, etc.)
- Ensure SFA involvement in client account plans in the markets
- Rally for support and visibility of SFA across the organization
- Push for SFA agenda across various teams
- Work with other teams to pursue client and overall NIQ interest
- Own client engagement within the markets
- Lead C-level or senior client engagements across the markets
- Help build Gift of Content or go-to-market approach to win new clients
- Be a strong voice in the industry: events / networks / social media outreach
- Drive people engagement
- Create an environment which inspires teams to walk the extra mile
- Identify opportunities for the team to learn and grow
Qualifications
- Hunter mindset in terms of selling, ability to proactively and confidently approach new clients and network with different groups
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to present during client events, industry forums with a wide audience
- Knowledge in terms of leading performance indicators – can rally the team to achieve required number of opportunities, meetings to meet sales quotas
- Confidence to talk to C-level clients and stakeholders
- Can-do attitude with ability to work under sales target pressure on regular basis
- Good negotiator and solutions focused
- Team player and Go-getter
- Attention to detail
- High say-do ratio
- Previous experience in selling High-Value products or Solutions-selling is MANDATORY
- Looking for at least 10 years experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, familiar with Sales Loft, PBI, Salesforce a plus
