Job Description

This role is remote in Los Angeles, California. There is 20 to 30 percent travel throughout the US. This role is for bilingual candidates, English and Spanish.

About this Job

The responsibilities of this role include recruitment of households to participate in the Nielsen Consumer Panel. This role is required to maintain an assigned number of households in order to achieve weekly transmissions and quality data of all the brands included in the covered product categories. This role also checks if the information collected by the household is correct and delivers the highest quality information from each household visited. The employee is expected to adhere strictly to Nielsen rules of data collection and deliver results to their manager.

●    Accountable for achieving in-person recruitment and installation goals by utilizing proven recruitment techniques.
●    Visit selected homes, within a designated territory when the panelist presents collaboration gaps
●    Educate panelists on proper scanner usage and the importance of scanning all products.
●    Adhere to Nielsen methodology and follow policies and procedures.
●    Recruit statistically selected eligible homes within an area, without an appointment
●    Persuade and educate the households while overcoming objectives, maximizing panel participation and building rapport.
●    Persuade panelists to complete surveys via paper and/or online.
●    Effectively communicate incentive and reward potentials to panelists, as well as address panelists’ questions that may arise throughout participation.

●    Support other Teams.
●    Collaborate with various departments within Nielsen to ensure a quality sample that is in compliance with methodology.
Drive to selected homes, within a designated territory using the company-provided vehicle and supplied GPS.
Collaborate with the National Consumer Panel (NCP) to ensure a quality sample that is in compliance with methodology.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
  • Strong customer service and human relations skills
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work various hours (evenings and weekends and holidays)
  • Strong computer skills
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Willing and able to be outside in all weather conditions going door-to-door to people’s homes– including, but not limited to single-family homes, townhouses, mobile homes, condominiums and apartments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
  • Being able to navigate stairs, elevators, walkways and driveway (paved and unpaved) and a wide array of entrances into people’s homes.
  • Willing and able to interact with people for several hours in their home – regardless of location or condition, this includes homes that may contain pets of any kind, as well as be in various states of cleanliness or disarray.
  • Travel to other markets to support other teams.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: 42,000.00-45,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
