Client Solutions Consultant Tech360
- Full-time
Company Description
We are the Consumer Insights team, a digitally focused research team within NIQ, and we love collaborating with clients to identify current and future market opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
Job Description
This position is for someone with a strong survey-based research background who is or want to become an expert in the telco market. As part of the team you’ll get to understand the UK telco market landscape, dynamics, and consumer behaviour, and translate what we learn into specific opportunities for our clients. We love to get immersed in data, work with it, come up with new hypotheses, and keep interrogating what we produce in order to create story-led analysis we are proud of.
This client facing role involves taking the lead with a portfolio of clients – being responsible for managing day to day requests and using data to develop strategic and tactical recommendations and insights and solve business needs. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients, so being able to establish rapport with clients by being client-focused, responsive and approachable is necessary. You will need to be able to confidently present PowerPoint reports, initially alongside a co-presenter, with an expectation of taking full ownership in the medium term.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
- Initially support the successful delivery of our syndicated solution to a number of clients through data analysis, report creation and responding to ad hoc requests, with the expectation to lead some of these reports (analysis, creation and presenting) in the medium term
- Support the delivery of the project on time and within budget
- Support non-project initiatives for knowledge growth and proposition development
Qualifications
You're good at:
- Analising data and translating findings into story-led PowerPoint presentations
- Presenting on a regular basis, both online and face-to-face
- Develop relationships with clients and become an important contact for them – client communication is a key part of this role
- Using self-service reporting platforms (eg Survey Reporter, Dapressy, Askia)
You can bring:
- Relevant market research / survey experience (in a previous agency or client-side)
- Be organised. The ability to plan is necessary as is the ability to adjust plans to achieve changing goals
- Analysis skills: Must enjoy and have experience with ‘digging’ through data sets to find the true story and themes that are worthy of further investigation to deliver insight and recommendations
- Client management skills
- Strong reporting and communication skills. You will have a passion to be an engaging ‘Story-Teller’
- Ideally knowledge of the UK telco market – if not, willingness to immerse themselves in it and become experts in the industry
- Skills with PowerPoint and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and experience using data analysis packages
