NielsenIQ Advanced Analytics

Advanced Analytics is a critical growth engine of NielsenIQ (NIQ), helping FMCG manufacturers and retailers unlock key insights across Revenue Growth Management, Shelf + Assortment Optimization, In-store effectiveness and Marketing Mix Modelling. We utilize the most granular NIQ data, loading into big data models and deliver the results through consulting and predictive simulation software helping clients make the right decisions that will drive sales and profit for their brands and category.

The Sales role will be part of the Benelux Advanced Analytical Consulting (AAC) sales team supporting a client vertical or client industry. We are looking for an avid sales hunter and consultative seller with a strong knowledge of marketplace potential and how to pitch Analytics services and SaaS software. Continuously drives sales success rates. Accurately manage sales pipeline and sales forecasting. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and grow market share.
  • Takes initiative to capitalize on new sales opportunities.
  • Ability to understand / explain the value of NIQ Analytics solutions versus competitors
  • Work with Sales teams to prospect and qualify leads.
  • Clearly and convincingly articulates AAC offerings and value proposition and overcome any resistance from prospective clients.
  • Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and other channels to understand their business needs and identify opportunities.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity
  • Manage numerous requests concurrently & strategically.
  • Maintain a prospective sales pipeline and target lists in Microsoft Dynamics / SalesLoft
  • Schedule meetings and develop new business opportunities. Meet or exceed targets for customer acquisition and transitioning qualified accounts/Sales associates.
  • Maintain product/technical knowledge by participating in learning workshops/sessions.

You know that collaboration amongst teams and truly listening to clients will help you meet your goals as well as when dealing with crisis and challenges. You create clarity between client needs and the contract with us to ensure that you level set expectations. Selling, critical thinking, negotiation, problem-solving and communication drive your work.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years direct sales experience with proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Bachelor/Master in Business / Economics / Marketing
  • Experience using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
  • Dealing with ambiguity and be able to take actions with flexibility
  • Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Dutch and or French are a plus.
