About the BASES business unit Change to SA&I?

BASES powers our client’s innovation, renovation, and brand success strategies. When you join our BASES Design & Ad business unit, you will consult with customers to improve their branding through packaging and advertising research.

With the end goal of improving new-product outcomes and the success of the overall brand, we provide consultation to help clients identify their best package option, ensure that they will stand out vs. competitors at the shelf, and optimize advertisements to drive engagement using world-class behavioral science and consulting, including the use of neuroscience research. We bring the voice and mind of the consumer to life with creativity and help build long-term brand success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Connect the dots for our clients using our world-class analytics, including survey research and neuroscience research
  • Provide insights on branding via packaging and advertisements that clients can use to drive their business forward
  • See your recommendations in action as you see products on the shelves or experience your client’s advertising in media.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Psychology, Marketing/Market Research, or Neuroscience. Will also consider students in an analytical or human insights-focused field, including but not limited to Economics, Engineering, or Liberal Arts
  • 1+ years of experience working at NIQ
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong critical thinking skills with an ability to translate large amounts of data into easy-to-understand and actionable presentations
  • Strong storytelling skills
  • Demonstrated an active role in seeking input from diverse thoughts, backgrounds, and outcomes
  • Passion for understanding consumers and market research
  • Passion for learning and applying new technologies to business solutions
  • Proven problem-solving skills using deductive reasoning, understanding hierarchical relationships, and identifying gaps in logic
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
