Job Description

As Software Engineer, you are part of the Global Media Measurement Tech and Client Operations management team and focus on maintaining healthy solutions and products that are operated globally.

Our Media Measurement team uses state-of-the-art technologies and rigorous methods to track who is watching what, where, and how they engage with content. Our clients can evaluate who is consuming which content across different media, platforms and devices, and know what the audience thinks about that content. As people consume media content on more channels, and through more devices, than ever before, we are proud to provide a full view on media consumption.

We look for a profile with skills:

Mandatory skills:

  • Advanced skills in design and architecture of software systems.
  • Expert-Level Proficiency in software engineering – C# / MVC /.NET (using Visual Studio)
  • ability to mentor juniors in best practices and design patterns
  • deep understanding of Cloud Technologies, ideally AWS including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC
  • Experience with MS-SQL-Server or equivalent, excellent SQL skills.
  • Experience in using document-oriented NoSQL database systems, e.g. MongoDB
  • Experience with cloud management tools, to control the cost-efficient use of resources in cloud environments.
  • High security-awareness especially in cloud-based environments.
  • Extensive experience applying agile methodologies in software development projects, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles. Ideally, experience with scaling agile practices in large organizations, such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
  • knowledge of CI/CD/TDD
  • working in distributed Teams using source control system based on git-protocol

 

Good to have skills:

  • working knowledge of Airflow (job scheduling, Python based) and PowerShell.
  • Frontend Knowledge (JavaScript, Ember.JS)
