Job Description
About this Job:
- Technical and functional application management of (web based/batch) applications
- Communication to (internal) customers and team members about changes in applications and processes
- Monitoring of the continuity and quality of data production and data delivery
- Execution of activities related to data production and data delivery
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the confidential handling of information of research results considering the privacy legislation and contractual agreements with the customers
- Monitoring and actively improving the efficiency in manual and automated processes
- Informing head of the department on time when SLA agreements are not met / will not be met
- Documenting and managing the administrative and logistical processes of the tasks and keeping them up-to-date
- Support (internal) customers in their need for information by (facilitating) data analysis
- Responsible for helpdesk activities for applications supported by the department
- Translate (internal) customer requests to requirements for ICT departments
- Managing of applications and their configuration files
- Testing of applications delivered/changed by the development departments based on the requirements
- Taking initiatives that can lead to innovation
- Coaching of level 1 and level 2 team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or similar working-/thinking level: technical profile, computer science, computer automation or similar practical experience.
- Advanced database knowledge
- Visual Basic experience is a plus
- Demonstratable work experience within an automated environment
- Expert knowledge in Excel
- Knowledgeable in panel processes
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Fluency in German is a plus
