ABOUT THE JOB
When you join the NielsenIQ BASES team, you’re signing up for an experience that requires flexibility, curiosity, and passion. The team aims high and loves sales. In Account Development you will:
- Support developing the NielsenIQ BASES business through developing small accounts as well as established business $1.5-2.5M
- Be accountable for the territory in achieving and exceeding revenue targets through excellence in partnership with broader Nielsen IQ teams
- Become a strategic and trusted partner for clients
- Leverage tools and technology to take sales to the next level
- Work with your Sales Manager and the Client Service teams to deliver against client needs
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages client relationships and helps develop account plans for increased client engagement:
- Pursue new business from existing and potential clients.
- Partner with broader NielsenIQ teams to find opportunities to sell more to existing clients, or to new clients.
- Consult with clients regarding research designs and general study concerns while fostering positive client relationships.
- Prepare client proposals, study designs and estimate costs of projects.
- Drive business results through consultative and insight selling techniques
- Become a partner focused on client innovation funnel from early stages to activation
- Meets group revenue goals:
- Contributes to the revenue management process for client group, including account plan review and updates
- Manages the pipeline using technology such as CRM
- Partners with pre sales and post sales enablement teams to be efficient and high performing.
- Manages the overall success of research projects
- Partners with Client Service teams to provide relevant client/project background, history and other NielsenIQ analytics
- Manages client feedback and seeks quick resolution to overcome challenges partnering with Client Service
- Corporate contributions
- Participates to corporate initiatives and taskforces
REQUIREMENTS
- Is sales driven and leverages insight selling techniques;
- Has previous experience with market research and/or FMCG/CPG;
- Is fluent in English and ideally another EU language
- Builds deep client relationships and is viewed as a trusted partner
- Meets revenue targets, and grows relationships with clients
- Shows strong planning, networking and communication skills
- Understands new product development, and solutions that impact innovation
- Manages client expectations through the life-cycle of a project, ensuring client satisfaction by providing feedback, insights and updates in a timely manner
