The NIQ Retail Analytics team is looking for an Analyst to aid in supporting client needs and strategically managing client relationships across a portfolio of accounts. NIQ's Retail Analytics Client Engagement Team works with companies to provide insights and thought leadership. Our work helps clients set pricing strategies, introduce new products and determines what products you ultimately see on the shelf and online. Our Client Engagement team members are experts within their categories and NIQ solutions and are viewed as trusted partners by our clients.
Remote based role based in the US. Candidates must be physically located within the US.
Job Description
When you join NIQ, you’re signing up for an experience that requires analytical thinking, flexibility, curiosity, and passion. The Analyst position will allow you to be on the front lines of the fast-paced consumer world.
- Help our clients understand their business through the preparation of materials (presentations, analysis workbooks, client reports, and tools) and using these to find insights to deliver business outcomes to the client.
- Support team members and collaborate with partners to deliver complex analyses and insightful recommendations.
- Ensure that client needs relating to data questions and investigations are answered as best as possible with available data and tools.
- Help establish NIQ as an indispensable insights partner and thought leader for your clients.
- Train and consult clients to conduct analytics using NIQ tools and data sets, democratizing insights to drive business decisions.
- Extract of data and creation of simple, effective presentations that lead clients to action and outcomes.
- Meet with team to review project briefs, discuss project status, take analysis through to recommendation-ready.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience along with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong analytical background and experience utilizing multiple and complex data sets and visualizing insights with great storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with NIQ solutions or syndicated data.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with BI Tools a plus (PowerBI, Tableau).
- Prior experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, and Client service (Consulting, Research) is highly desirable.
