Job Description

Location: Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou/Shenzhen

Responsibilities

Strategy Development, Implementation & Leadership:

  • Prepare and implement annual strategic plan required for business
  • Manage business performance against budget and KPIs.

Sales & Marketing Management:

  • Take personal ownership of the key strategic and operational partners in and outside of China.
  • Developing/Strengthening deep global & local client relationships required for business in long term view;
  • Attend specific events (seminars, conventions, etc.) and visit the sales points frequently. Be an ambassador of the brand, displaying appropriate leadership behaviors, knowledge, and expertise including a strong developing Point of views.
  • Acts as an advisor to both the team and the clients about client position, recommends the best resources and applies knowledge.
  • Have strong data insight and analysis skills
  • keep abreast of important current and future trends of the industry, clients, and competition and in sharing such intelligence with the GfK leadership team.
  • Strong retail & consumer insight generation

People Management

  • Lead & manage related business teams in China, including talent recruitment, development, and retainment.
  • Achieves success through managing the actions of others by leveraging on the skills of the team - giving them space and support to grow into their roles.
  • Attract and integrate top talents from required multi-functional disciplines to form a ‘start up’ team that is passionate and client-centric.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’ s degree,
  • Over 10 years of working experience with in Tech & Durable/Market Research/Consultancy/SaaS/B2B solution service industry.
  • Strong Sales team leadership and people management experience.
  • Proven sales and business development track record, and commercial experience with Key Account clients
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Frequent travel is required

  • Strong interpersonal skills in building trust with local and global clients
  • Superior organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
