Job Description

ABOUT THIS JOB  

The Facility Technical Executive role is to support the APAC Ops Manager,Facility Manager, and the Regional Lead. The facility technical executive actively manages and coordinates the delivery of technical services, Technical Vendor management and technical materials management and they responsible for the technical operations across all office locations within the cluster. The role will require identification and management of key stakeholders ensuring that all locations deliver a high standard of technical facility services whilst managing the service delivery in line with the budget allocations 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Inspection and Maintenance: 

  • Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC, to identify any issues or abnormalities. 
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and systems based on schedules and manufacturer guidelines. 
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and cleaning equipment. 

Repair and Troubleshooting: 

  • Respond to service requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner. 
  • Diagnose problems in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems and implement appropriate repairs. 
  • Replace faulty components or equipment and ensure proper functioning after repairs. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and security systems. 

Documentation and Reporting: 

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment repair histories, and inspection reports. 
  • Document all repairs, parts used, and time spent on maintenance tasks. 
  • Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and potential issues for review by the Facilities Manager/Supervisor. 

Compliance and Safety: 

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance tasks. 
  • Ensure that all equipment and systems meet regulatory and compliance standards. 
  • Assist in conducting inspections to identify any safety hazards and take appropriate corrective actions. 

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in a relevant technical field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing). 
  • Proven experience as a Technician in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting. 
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC. 
  • Familiarity with building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and security systems. 
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical/mechanical drawings. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software.
