The Retail Services division represents the company when partnering with major retail companies and e-commerce businesses, whether providing sales data or marketing products and solutions. We need individuals who can lead a team and establish strong partnerships with major home appliance retailers and e-commerce operators on behalf of GfK.

Job Description

Mission:

  • Provide market data and insights to partner companies through data exchange, enhancing their market understanding and supporting their daily marketing activities.
  • Use group solutions and expertise to help partner companies solve their challenges.
  • Achieve sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sell group solutions and services.
  • Develop new partner companies.
  • Negotiate to receive high-frequency, high-granularity data from major retail companies.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with major retail companies.
  • Develop and propose solution services for partner companies.
  • Plan department strategies in line with global and GfK Japan company policies.
  • Lead the team to achieve goals.
  • Support team members to work effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of B2B sales experience in the home appliance/IT industry.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and marketing.
  • Basic IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Presentation, negotiation, and proposal skills for clients.
  • English proficiency: ability to read and write general documents and have everyday conversations (TOEIC score of 600+).

Preferred:

  • Experience in head office sales at home appliance/mobile/IT equipment manufacturers or retail companies.
  • Experience working at or with major e-commerce companies.
  • Team management experience.
  • Project management experience.
