Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Researches, sources, and drafts both written and visual learning materials, including conceptual and technical video scripts, effective knowledge check and assessment questions, and practice activities  

  • Reviews, edits, and enhances content provided by SMEs to transform highly technical, complex NIQ products and data information into effective learning content  

  • Develops technical storyboards with clear direction and detail for building out interactive solutions 

  • Contributes to digital development of assets, such as eLearning, videos, quizzes, graphics, program launch pages, marketing/communications materials, using authoring and development tools 

  • Communicates regularly and proactively with project team members in multiple time zones through appropriate channels such as email, project management software, chat, comments, etc. 

  • Follows and uses established processes, templates, and methodical approaches for content development 

  • Self-checks and tests learning deliverables for content accuracy and effective user experience  

  • Applies feedback from project lead and stakeholders to meet business needs 

  • Reviews, provides feedback, and builds upon the work of other designers and developers on the team

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or equivalent education / experience   

  • 3+ years of learning and development experience in a corporate setting, ideally working with instructional designers, digital developers, SMEs, and stakeholders in a global/remote setting 

  • Mastery and practical usage of written and verbal English in a corporate setting, in order to write, review, edit and present learning content and communicate effectively 

  • Advanced attention to detail for editing, quality-checking, UX-testing in order to deliver high-quality results  

  • Strong eye for visual design or experience working in a graphic design field in order to validate solution learner experience for learner usability and visual attractiveness  

  • Preferred experience: Experience working with NielsenIQ data, CPG manufacturers and retailers, and data analytics

Additional Information

Essential Software Experience 

  • Microsoft 365, especially PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Teams, Outlook, and collaborative features  

  • Project management software (e.g. Asana) 

  • eLearning authoring tools: Basic experience, including designing and editing simple interactive activities and assessments 

  • Video recording/editing tools: Basic experience, including recording and simple audio/video editing  

Preferred Software Experience 

  • Articulate 360: 

  • Storyline: Intermediate experience, including using triggers, layers, states, templates, test banks, scoring/publishing, variables, freeform questions 

  • Rise: Advanced experience, including embedding, micro-learning, question types, scoring/publishing   

  • Easy Generator 

  • Camtasia: Intermediate experience including behaviors, animations, sound/video editing, recording  

  • WellSaid 

  • Learning Management Systems (e.g. Workday): Intermediate knowledge, including troubleshooting, SCORM packages, testing   

  • Digital Adoption/Knowledge Base software.
