The #NielsenIQ technology teams are working on building a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on #NielsenIQ data and insights to innovate and grow. We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to be part of our Technology hub in India, on the release management team enables business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Support production releases for globally deployed applications
- Maintain Ansible playbooks, Unix shell scripts and application specific configuration
- Design new build & deployment pipelines for new components working with dev and infra teams
- Adhere to process quality, understand emerging technologies, follow standards and best practices in release management
- Can work autonomously and collaborate with other team members to ensure business continuity
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies, tools and frameworks to maximize efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience with code versioning systems and CI/CD frameworks – Bitbucket, Jenkins, Github, Github actions, Gradle, Maven, Artifactory.
- Experience in Ansible, Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Proficient in bash and python scripting.
- Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and tools like synk, wiz.
- In depth knowledge in cloud stack – Azure specifically.
- Exposure to containerization technologies like docker, kubernetes
- Ability to learn fast and understand the domain.
- Open and quick to learn innovative technologies and tools.
- Excellent problem solving, with a team player mindset.
- Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
