Job Description

  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with Vendors and act as the primary point of contact between Vendor and NielsenIQ 
  • Ensure vendor keeps contractual obligations and take corrective action if not
  • Drive future innovation conversation with vendors to fully leverage vendor's expertise in consumer engagement, technology and data management 
  • Work with vendors to develop, monitor, maintain, and prioritize project plans for vendor-side enhancements and/or issue resolution, keeping key NIQ stakeholders (cross-functional work team and management) informed on all vendor-related topics (progress against enhancement, data delays, etc) 
  •  Facilitate internal NIQ stakeholder conversation that are necessary to answer vendor questions or determine the appropriate guidance to provide to vendor 
  • Be a core member of the US Panel cross-functional team to drive any vendor conversations, conduct data quality checks, and other pre-onboarding activities.
  • Ensure that NIQ has comprehensive and up to date documentation of everything related to vendor data collection and panelist engagement, Identify and document best practices across vendors, drive future improvement ideas 
  • Handle vendor related purchase order, payment, billing concerns, contract extensions 
  • For new vendors: support the Vendor accreditation process with Data Science, Technology and Operations. Work with the local Ops team or Program managers to finalize onboarding plans for Vendors linked to Consumer Intelligence coverage expansion or revenue or new product offerings.  Ensure the onboarding of the Vendor according to the requirements provided by Data Science and Panel Product Leader in a timely manner and with the quality expected.
  • Manage BAU panel management processes per contractual requirements:
    • including but not limited to panel size control, volume of trips by retailer by period, panel rotation rate control, level of engagement, etc.
    • Delivery data tracking: on-time delivery from the vendor on an agreed frequency (daily basis)
    • Monitor vendor's technology for data collection and panel management (e.g. mobile app, panelist communication, social media) to manage risks related to data quality, fraud, legal & privacy governance and brand reputation. 
  • Oversees the management of the incentive payments and the review of the detailed input for the creation of PO's, invoices, and payment processing
  • In BAU operations, review KPIs with DSci and drive conversations with Vendors for KPI improvements wherever needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience
  • 5 + years of relevant professional work experience
  • Panel operations and data collection experience preferred
  • Technology exposure, tech-savvy (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Advance Level of English
  • Strong technical knowledge and business interpretation of data
  • Program management skills (Desired Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSS GB) Certified
