Position Summary:

As a Finance Business Partner at NIQ, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support business decisions. This role requires a proactive approach to financial management, aiming to enhance business performance and drive sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with business unit leaders to align financial strategy with business objectives and deliver on financial targets. Directly reporting to the Regional Finance Business Partner, you will be an integral part of the Global Finance Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advising: Act as a key advisor to business units, providing financial insights and analysis that influence strategic decisions and business planning.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for your business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts; provide detailed reports and recommendations to enhance business operations and profitability.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities; develop strategies to manage risks and capitalize on opportunities. Develop financial models and scenarios to evaluate business initiatives, investment opportunities, and strategic projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial analysis, business analysis, or a similar strategic role in finance.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the impact of financial decisions on business outcomes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial modeling and experience with financial software and systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.) and ERP systems. Experience using data visualization tools (PowerBI etc.) is highly preferred
  • Analytical Skills: High proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide leadership and guidance on financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
