Job Description

The ACSA works directly with our Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) clients and/or client service teams to create database solutions that address key business needs.  The AFC provides consultation and investigation on requested changes to assigned category and database structures, making recommendations on solutions that best address the client’s business needs.  After clarifying the project scope, the ACSA supports the work using our standard operating procedures and working in concert with other teams and players.  The ACSA consults with the client during key events and/or reviews to ensure continuous alignment on the project scope and expected outcome.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Effectively provide consultative leadership based on a thorough understanding of all Nielsen deliverables, platforms, tools, best-demonstrated practices, and operational capabilities and limitations.
  • Lead detailed data structure requirement discussions that synchronize Nielsen capabilities with the client’s expected outcome, while building alignment with the client on the deliverable.
  • Analyze, interpret, and translate FMCG industry trends, and make database recommendations based on empirical evidence that solves key business issues.
  • Refine and analyze high-level business requirements to ensure proper design; identify and discuss any constraints to the design, process, or delivery with relevant stakeholders.
  • Accurately interpret business requirements to the execution team and provide consultation as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communications
  • Clear and articulate command of the English language
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in working with software platforms
  • 2-3 years prior customer service organization experience
  • Demonstrate ability to identify and implement new or changed business improvement opportunities
  • Ability to lead and actively participate in group discussions and client meetings and anticipate & respond to “live” dialogue with clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;  Ability to prepare meaningful presentations using PowerPoint software; Ability to utilize Excel for pivots & basic functionality
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to validate output, troubleshoot errors and quickly make corrections
  • Ability to function in a team environment
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver against established timelines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of how Machine learning works 
  •  
  • Preferred Skills:
  • SQL, Python
  • Data visualization experience like Tableau and Power BI
  • Knowledge of NielsenIQ products, industry, and technology 
  • Ability to design and test solutions for internal operational teams to manage workload and drive efficiency
  • Strong understanding of US markets, facts, calendars
