Job Description

As the Director of Leadership and Talent Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by driving the development of our leadership pipeline and nurturing talent across all levels.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a holistic leadership development strategy aligned with organizational goals, values, and objectives. 

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate leadership development programs, including but not limited to executive coaching, mentorship initiatives, succession planning, and leadership competency frameworks. 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR business partners, and department heads, to identify leadership development needs and priorities. 

  • Create and facilitate engaging workshops, seminars, and training sessions on key topics that drive leader effectiveness. 

  • Drive talent management initiatives, including talent assessments, career pathing, and talent mobility programs, to identify high-potential employees and support their career advancement. 

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to senior leaders and high-potential individuals to enhance their leadership capabilities and address performance gaps. 

  • Partner with external vendors, consultants, and subject matter experts to leverage best practices and innovative solutions in leadership development and talent management. 

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of leadership and talent development initiatives and use data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement efforts. 

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in leadership development, talent management, and organizational development, and incorporate relevant insights into program design and delivery. 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance team of leadership development professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 

  • Proven track record of at least 8-10+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or organizational development roles, with increasing levels of responsibility. 

  • Strong understanding of leadership theories, adult learning principles, and talent development methodologies. 

  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering leadership development programs for diverse audiences, including senior executives, mid-level managers, and emerging leaders. 

  • Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable leadership development strategies and initiatives. 

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and measurement techniques to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines. 

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. 

  • Professional certifications in leadership development, coaching, or talent management (e.g., CPLP, PCC, SHRM-SCP) are highly desirable. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
