About this job:

In this role, you will become a part of the French Client Instruction team. The main purpose would be to act as subject matter expert regarding Nielsen processes and procedures, including accountability for documentation. You will also be responsible for continuous improvement of processes towards efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility and working out solutions across countries and functions to any issues outside of BAU. As an SME you would also be accountable for delivery of projects and various initiatives that will have an impact on Nielsen’s deliverables to clients.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for design, establish, implement, and document, for the particular projects of all respective processes and procedures, for developed solutions, ensuring expected quality and delivery timings are met  
  • Implement solutions that translate into standardization and process efficiency while balancing local BAU needs in CI area  
  • Act as a single point of contact regarding tools enhancements, including communication and follow up with countries  
  • Identify problems, determine root causes as well as action plans. Make recommendations for improvements within internal processes  
  • Act as SPOC and provide support for other operational teams - deliver and organize training and knowledge sharing sessions  
  • Ensure BAU process documentation is updated on a regular basis or created from scratch if needed and stored in an agreed place  
  • Daily work in a virtual and multicultural environment through cooperation with stakeholders and colleagues to deliver against the set objectives  

Qualifications:  

Work experience:  

  • At least 2 years of tenure in Client Instruction stream with a solid experience of process execution, good understanding of OPS environment and CIP/Discover platform knowledge  

Requirements:  

  • Excellent end-to-end operational understanding within CI stream  
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills  
  • Ownership for executed tasks, driving progress and working out solutions  
  • Very good Excel knowledge and computer languages like for instance SQL or R are a plus  
  • Well-developed analytical skills and very good attention to detail  
  • Good communication skills including English language (verbal and written)  
  • Proactive attitude in recommending suitable solutions  
  • Ability to work and build relationships with stakeholders at various levels of organization  
  • Ability to work effectively in a team to achieve goals together  
  • Time management skills   
  • Presentation skills   
  • Process management skills
