Job Description

Role Purpose

Global Snapshots are highly profitable Ad hoc multi country back data reports. Global Snapshots generate > $57 million revenue worldwide, with 80% margin - growing with double digits over the last years. For many of the over 500 global and local clients, Global Snapshots are their only market data source and step stone to wider NielsenIQ services. Snapshots are quick (5-10 days) turn-around deliveries.

 

The Global Snapshot GCE is the key operational contact for clients and NielsenIQ countries worldwide, working on the design and management of the production and delivery of the multi-country Ad hoc reports. The Global Snapshot GCE ensures the reports optimally combine client needs and existing data sources. Good project design with appropriate set-up is crucial for good quality and on time deliveries.

 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide services which meet client needs. Key to this is the discussion with clients and Business Development Managers to advise them on how Ad Hoc reports including multiple country information can best be set up and delivered.
  2. Key touch point both externally (for the client) and internally (for Client Service / Business Development Managers and ISC network in local countries) with responsibility for proactive communication and transparency on issues, service enhancements, technology updates etc…
  3. Coordinate data orders (linked to Availability studies) to ISC network in NielsenIQ local countries and production of the Snapshot reports.
  4. Coordinate report production with production team in Pune
  5. Work on process and service improvement to bring efficiency, productivity, and flexibility in global snapshot team.
  6. Accountable for supporting clients and Business Development Managers on the correct escalation and resolution of day to day queries, new business opportunities and on technical requirements
  7. Attend client meetings to identify client needs versus production capabilities, agree on best compromise and apply learnings / best practises in case of recurring deliveries
  8. Support the ISC in Global snapshot team for China: support our hub on international queries on local data availability, data orders and data queries.

  • The role is global
  • Other factors indicating size/complexity of role:
    • Mix of local and global clients
    • Knowledge of multiple GCD tools to coordinate Ad hoc reports under high delivery time pressure and client customization requests to meet client needs
    • Knowledge of multiple local country Production Platforms and categories
    • Strong relationships with ISC network, Global Services Business Development Managers and within F&D countries are essential
    • Generic technical knowledge requirements

  • Client facing skills
  • Excellent verbal and numerical reasoning skills
  • Strong communication skills – very good English and fluent Italian language
  • Ability to build relationships across countries and cultures to establish a network
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills to track the status of Ad Hoc reports production and delivery
  • Problem solving
  • Excel skills – Essential
  • Programming skills (VBA/PowerBI/PowerApps…) – an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and to ask for support when required
