About the Job

As a Jr Purchasing Associate at NielsenIQ, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth execution of procurement processes across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order (PO) creation in Ariba for NielsenIQ/Bases projects for NA, Latin America, Europe, and Pacific
  • Invoice Submission in Ariba for vendors who are not familiar with the platform.
  • Point of contact for Bidding Specialists and vendors for PO requests, invoices, problems, and questions.
  • Maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Accounts Payable follow ups on outstanding payments.
  • Vendor extensions requests.
  • Urgent payment requests.
  • Master vendor changes including banking information updates for vendors.
  • Manage shared mailbox for ad-hoc requests.
  • Drafting emails.
  • Escalating requests.
  • Make connections with internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Early graduates in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing or related.
  • English level: intermediate-advanced.

  • Highly detailed oriented.
  • Customer mindset, highly responsive, committed to building partnerships, and comfortable handling urgent requests/situations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving team.
