Our Cybersecurity Strategy Team works diligently to protect NielsenIQ’s data center and cloud components from cyber-attacks. We are driving a global security strategy through technology leader partnership, continuously evolving security approaches and alignment, analyzing industry frameworks and standards to drive more meaningful security outcomes, and actively searching for ways to drive more cohesive security capability delivery across our global estate.  

As a Project Manager in Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for leading the development of projects that involve multiple Cybersecurity teams and other stakeholders across the business. Projects will focus on, but aren’t limited to the improvement of regulations, policies, standards, and processes that improve NielsenIQ’s global security strategy and posture. 

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with stakeholders to collect and identify relevant project information 
  • Support planning, execution, and assessment of complex efforts along with providing high level vision to program/manager and or leadership while managing and or influencing objectives of complex efforts 
  • Perform gap analysis between current usages of the tools and optimal usage based on business requirements 
  • Support process improvement to leverage technology and service providers to support the goals of the Cybersecurity program 
  • Manage projects with cross-functional teams across business units and geographic locations 
  • Gather infrastructure, business and IT, estimates and ensure they are developed using sound principles and judgement 
  • Support the definition of deliverables, tasks, and timelines with teams and drive them to completion for multiple programs within workstream 
  • Perform analysis to identify innovative utilization of existing resources and potential solutions that facilitate decision-making to resolve issues preventing successful execution 
  • Identify and mitigate risks by creating risk management plans, managing interdependencies with other organizational projects, investigating problems, and performing in-depth analysis to ensure project delivery 
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to key stakeholders and business leaders 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of project management experience 
  • 2-4 years experience in cybersecurity is desired  
  • 1-3 years of demonstratable experience designing, documenting, and implementing Power Platform and Power BI solutions.  
  • 1-3 years building Power BI reports, datasets, and dashboards.  
  • 1-3 years of demonstratable experience designing, documenting, and implementing Jira projects 
  • Experience in development of Azure logic apps and Azure functions to extend the Power Platform capabilities is a plus.  
  • Experience working in an agile sprint based environment  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Innate curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive for simplification and automation.
