About this Job 

 

We are looking for an Account Development Manager to join our BASES Sales Team. Imagine working closely with the world’s biggest consumer packaged goods manufacturers for categories such as personal care, home care, foods and beverages, alcohol, pharma etc. and help them better understand consumer’s dynamics, innovations ‘potential and portfolio management opportunities to achieve their business objectives. All of these, supported by the best-in-class research and predictive analytical tools. NIQ BASES team is uniquely positioned to consult with clients and provide insights and intelligence to drive more effective decision making.  

 

As an Account Development Manager you will develop trusted advisor relationships with clients by deeply understanding their business and generating valuable insights. You will be responsible for creating and applying solid sales prospecting plans to retain and increase NIQ BASES clients across all Latam region, by working together with local, regional and global teams. Responsibilities 

 

  • Responsible for revenue targets across multiple clients and countries, as well as understanding profit growth and contribution goals, working the entire sales funnel and managing commercial KPI’s with the highest level of proficiency.  
  • Identify areas of opportunity and growth for new business development, creating plans and executing against them in order to occupy identified market white spaces, developing relationships within an assigned portfolio of clients. 
  • Work to strategically meet and anticipate client needs, identifying areas to grow client relationships and sell in new services and solutions. 
  • Develop understanding of industry trends (becoming a thought leader), competition, and opportunities for NielsenIQ to grow its market awareness and penetration. 
  • Be able to understand and customize all NielsenIQ BASES solutions in order to meet client needs, designing studies and estimating costs of custom adhoc projects, successfully leading negotiation of complex deals. 
  • Lead client meetings at all management levels, promoting NielsenIQ business and interests, building its positive image through active participation in professional associations and industry conferences / seminars.  

Qualifications

Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consultative Sales/Marketing/Research/Innovation   
  • Knowledge and/or passion of/for the consumer-packaged goods industries 
  • Strong business English and functional knowledge in Spanish, both verbal and written 
  • Microsoft Office Skills 
  • Customer service and consultation skills 
  • Consultative story telling skills and effective communication skills 
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills 
  • Account management and negotiating skills 
  • Comfortable working in a digital enabled environment with regional and international teams 
  • Leadership and people management skills 
  • Strong business analysis and financial acumen (including business environment and client)
