Job Description

The role of an Associate Manager is fundamental to the success of the business. In this capacity, the CMI Associate Manager works with internal teams across the organization from team members in the Commercial side of the business as well as Operations and Statisticians to design, manage, and execute a wide variety of measurement and insight projects.

The CMI Associate Manager plays an important client-facing role, helping to support Directors when engaging with clients to understand what they truly want before designing custom solutions to meet their needs across a wide range of data and research needs: consumer insight and understanding, brand and marketing strategy, media measurement and analytics, customer experience, and product testing and design.

Responsibilities

Client Service/Support

  • Serve as a primary contact with the client for a single project
  • Independently liaise with clients regarding business issues, research design solutions for business issues, and report generation for a project

Project Management

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge of research techniques and applications
  • Perform quality checks on all reports for alignment to request, accuracy, and correctness
  • Manage data quality issues by overseeing the data inquiry process
  • Responsible for proposal & design and completing report for a project
  • Responsible for making sure no errors developed from the questionnaire, tabulation, reporting, charting, and giving necessary solutions for issue raised
  • Responsible for summarizing and concluding the report with quality insights to satisfy the client’s request for a project

People Management

  • Conduct on-the-job training to Analyst/Senior Analyst on research methodology, project management
  • Act as coach, guide, and mentor junior executive

Business Development

  • Undertake sales activities independently or in conjunction with senior staff in terms of preparation and delivery of proposals and credentials
  • Demonstrate the value and implication of market research/NIQ

Qualifications

  • University graduate in any faculties. Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years of research working experience preferred
  • A strategic thinker looking to put together data and research findings with business and marketing strategy
  • Strong coordination and time management skills
  • Proactive and striving for excellence, who can work independently and within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint and/ or Google Spreadsheet & Slides
  • Good client service skills and ability to communicate and write effectively in English and Mandarin

Additional Information

Hybrid-based role, must be physically located within Taiwan and the applicant must be a Country/Region Resident.
