We are looking for a Survey Programmer/JavaScript Developer to join our Data Acquisition team.

As part of the team your primary responsibility will be leading development of a web browser survey, written in JavaScript, that collects online data on the behavior of a very large sample of subjects in a secure, privacy-protecting fashion, from personal computers and mobile devices (tablets and mobile phones), in +10 countries.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the survey processing/programmer supporting delivery of client surveys
  • Ensure all client / internal survey workload is executed.
  • Ensure all survey outputs requirements are met in accordance with commercial / internal specification
  • Ensure the timeline and accuracy of survey data delivery.
  • Serve as link between Nielsen Teams: commercial, consultants, data acquisition.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience working with manipulating data, facts or statistics
  • 1+ years’ experience in in-depth survey data processing and manipulation
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Knowledge of English (B2+)
  • Proficient in the use of survey tabbing applications (Verint / Survey Data Reporter or similar)
  • Proficiency with web-based software for the production and management of online surveys
  • Good understanding of current survey business, processes, and data including business uses and requirements.
  • General Consumer Panel knowledge a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Degree in Data Processing, General Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent degree/experiences
