Description – APMEA Specialty Pricing & Forecasting Team

The world’s premier consumer marketers look to BASES to help them achieve better results from their innovation programs. The APMEA Specialty Pricing & Forecasting team is uniquely qualified to serve as our clients’ innovation research partner, leveraging both global reach and local presence. With best-in-class research and predictive analytical tools, Specialty Forecasting team accurately plans and predict sales helping clients maximize their ROI for the new product launch. Internally, we would be the ‘Centre of Excellence’ for any forecasting study and ‘Go to team’ for all methodology and executional challenges. Eventually, APMEA Specialty Pricing & Forecasting team would provide a platform to interact with the CMIs, Marketing and Revenue Management teams. There would be ample opportunities to work on high visibility and strategic projects, thereby gaining recognition from the wider BASES community. Also, there would be diverse opportunities to collaborate with clients across categories and regions, leading to a sharper learning curve for associates.
Accountabilities
• Subject matter expert for pricing & forecasting techniques, including our flagship product LPO & Forecast. • Execute volumetric analyses interpreting in-market data, secondary data, and adjusting model outputs appropriately. • Reviews data for errors and inconsistencies. • Prepares input and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. • Analyzes study results to draft reports and presentations. • Prepares initial client correspondence. • Interacts with client staff on routine issues. • Attends client meetings and presentations. • Works on follow-up requests.
Qualifications
Skills & Knowledge required:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of statistics and research techniques Excellent command of oral and written English

Education:
Bachelor’s OR Matser's degree
