Position Description
When you join the NielsenIQ BASES team, you’re signing up for an experience that requires flexibility, curiosity, and passion. As a Innovation Business Partner, Client Acquisition you will:
Support developing the NielsenIQ BASES business through developing small accounts and acquisition of new accounts of M$ 0.5-1.0
Be accountable for the region in achieving and exceeding revenue targets through excellence in partnership with Analytic Teams
Be a strategic client partner and trusted partner to clients
Leverage tools and technology to take sales to the next level
Work with your Sales Manager and the Client Service teams to deliver against client needs
Responsibilities
Manages client commercial relationships with senior support and helps developing account plans to drive sales
Collaborates with manager to pursue new business from existing and potential clients
Drives business results through consultative and insight selling techniques, with senior support
Prepares client proposals and study designs and estimates costs of projects, with supervision
Becomes a partner focused on full innovation system from early stages to activation
Consults with clients regarding research designs and general study concerns while fostering positive client relationships.
Meets group revenue goals with senior support.
Contributes to the revenue management process for client group, including account plan review and updates
Manages the pipeline using technology such as CRM
Manages the overall success of research projects
Partners with Client Service teams to provide relevant client/project background, history and other NielsenIQ analytics
Manages client feedback and seeks quick resolution with senior support to overcome challenges partnering with Client Service
Corporate contributions
Participates to corporate initiatives and taskforces
Success Factors
Is fluent in English + another west EU language
Has 3-4 years of experience in Sales roles, or market research
Meets revenue targets, and grows relationships with clients
Is sales driven and leverages insight selling techniques
Has previous experience with market research and FMCG/CPG
Shows strong planning, networking and communication skills
Understands NPD and Innovation products and services, forecasting theory and broader solutions that impact innovation
Manages client expectations through the life-cycle of a project, ensuring client satisfaction by providing feedback, insights and updates in a timely manner
