We are seeking a results-oriented executive business partner to lead our global sales incentive program, including strategy and execution for best-in-class motivators, and support for global NIQ participants as we pursue our mission to accelerate growth.
The Sales Incentive Program Vice President will be responsible for defining fair and accurate incentive programs and implementing them with excellence. You will lead a highly matrixed program, with ultimate responsibility for all facets of the incentive planning process, including quota setting, incentive design, total seller compensation modeling, market-level short term sales incentive programs, calculation of payouts, and execution of payments. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver timely and accurate program execution across the globe for all matrixed stakeholders. You will collaborate weekly with leaders across Finance, Legal, HR and Sales to achieve the most optimal results. As a member of the Global Revenue Operations leadership team, you will also have accountability for driving our sales transformation initiatives, designed to accelerate NIQ’s market position and elevate NIQ associates’ experience.
Responsibilities:
Execute sales incentive programs with efficiency and accuracy, managing a global process in support of more than 2,000 participants.
Manage end-to-end sales incentive process design, from quota setting through participant payouts, including program rules, policies and procedures.
Demonstrate business knowledge and curiosity through collaborative partnership with commercial leaders to set and execute incentive plans.
Focus on continuous process improvement across functions that impact incentive plan design and execution to increase automation, decrease risk and deliver results.
Lead matrixed stakeholders with ownership and accountability for program success recognizing reliance on Finance, Legal, HR and Sales to achieve desired results.
Document all related processes, policies and procedures, in coordination with Legal, to protect both NIQ and all plan participants.
Model program financials both pre- and post-payouts to manage equitable plan design and total program cost.
Lead all communications with Sales, HR, Workers Councils (where applicable) and others to gain alignment and approval on annual plan design and/or changes throughout the plan year.
Demonstrate proactive problem solving by acting as a business partner for all commercial leaders across the globe.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in total compensation and rewards, sales, sales operations, or strategic management in a business-to-business sales environment
Proactive team leadership and stakeholder management
Creative and confident problem solving
Proven excellence in large, global execution
Commercial expertise, gained through sales or sales operations experience
Ability to anticipate various outcomes and plan accordingly
Clear, confident communication skills with large audiences/in front of senior leaders
Financial acumen
Experience in both public and private companies
Experience designing and executing compensation strategies on a global scale
