Mid/Senior Engineer, Pune/Chennai

As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now our platform is based in AngularJS, JavaScript, Java, REST APIs, NodeJS and Mongo, and we continue to adopt the best of breed in cloud-native, low-latency technologies. We value CI/CD in everything that we develop. Our team is co-located and agile, with central technology hubs in Chicago, Madrid and Chennai.  

Responsibilities

  • Write complex, maintainable code to develop scalable, flexible, and user-friendly applications, using Java, Spring boot and front end technologies leveraging the Java services
  • Identify and develop reusable UI components that serve the needs of multiple applications
  • Design and develop highly available, low latency, cloud-native applications 
  • Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the cloud based Big Data Solution - conceptualize, design, develop, test and deploy

Qualifications

  • 3 to 10 years of applicable software engineering experience
  • Strong fundamentals with experience in back-end and front-end object-oriented programming, including proficiency in Java, Springboot and Angular / React js.
  • Familiarity integrating Restful APIs and an understanding of microservices architecture
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business 
  • Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure would be desirable
