Accountabilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the automotive sector across the region.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into actionable research strategies.
  • Generate opportunities for NielsenIQ to pitch relevant solutions.
  • Play an active role in development and implementation of the strategic direction for the automotive research department in alignment with the company's overall goals.
  • Identify key market trends, challenges, and opportunities within the automotive industry to align our clients’ research priorities.
  • New opportunity prospecting, taking research brief, developing relevant proposals.
  • Provide advice on the execution of projects, inform clients on progress and provide specific instructions to other departments regarding the collection and electronic processing of information.
  • Present the proposals & research findings report to the clients.
  • Handle client queries & complaints. Client stakeholder management.
  • Managing financial accountabilities, including sales targets, solution pitches, invoicing and collection.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong client focus
  • An understanding of various marketing research projects, with a focus on Automotive specific projects (e.g. Segmentation, Brand Health understanding, Car clinics, Transactional Price tracking etc.), to enable meaningful conversations with all client stakeholders.
  • Understanding of analysis tools and data interpretation.
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade and to develop long term sustainable relationships with clients.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation development and delivery skills - Confident presenting key insights, stories, and actions in face to face or virtual presentations
  • Displays maturity and creative problem solving skills in handling crises
  • Able to operate in a multi-cultural environment and handle multiple stakeholders internally and externally
  • Competent Negotiator with good influencing skills
  • 8+ years relevant working experience. Experience in market research company would be preferred.
  • Knowledge and exposure to more that one markets is an added advantage (worked preferably in the international arena/ client side/ agency side)
