About this job

In view of the large investment planned to expand and modernize Consumer Panel Services (CPS) at European and Global level, this is role is pivotal in the commercial strategy and focused on delivering outstanding growth and raise the bar of Consumer Intelligence services.

The Sales Leader will be part of the Iberian leadership team. The role reports directly to the Iberian MD and CPS Leader Southern Europe.

Knowledge of and experience working with Consumer Panel Data (CPS) is essential.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Define commercial strategy and overview the product one for Spain and Portugal
  • Execute sales strategy that retains current revenue and generates new revenue maximizing our products and services.
  • Drive end-to-end sales process including hunting new clients, value proposition, pricing, negotiation and closing deals.
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecasting accurately!
  • Lead consumer panel team (about 20 FTEs) including engagement, training, hiring process.

 

Key Accountabilities

● Meet or exceed revenue targets and grow market share for Consumer Intelligence local teams

● Take initiative to capitalize on new sales opportunities as well as own and grow new revenue streams (commercial initiatives, new strategic projects deployment…)

● Clearly and convincingly articulate CPS offerings and value proposition and overcome any resistance from prospective clients

● Ability to understand / explain the value of an integrated proposition Retail and Consumer Measurement services

● Ability to drive sales strategy, effectively translating the CPS Global strategy into Iberian plans that deliver success

● Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Product Leadership, Technology, Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing…

● Ability to drive sales maintaining a long term perspective to maximise overall revenue generation while being able to generate short term results.

● Know client, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to leadership team

● Scale people impact by driving clarity, generating energy, and building diverse teams

● Skilled in coaching managers to drive sales excellence behavior improvements

● Maintain customer relationships and increase NPS index

● Ensure internal processes are followed, including team’s adherence to tracking customer and transactional information in CRM system and other sales and operational processes

● Hire, train and mentor Sales talent

● Maintain product/technical knowledge by participating in learning workshops/sessions.

● Cross-selling/Partnership with other NIQ business teams.

Requirements

● 10+ years of sales leadership experience managing a team

● Long lasting experience in the area of Homescan panels and Homescan analytics

● Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization, driving people sales teams to success

● Fluent in English and Spanish

● Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to C Level.

● Proven experience successfully meeting sales revenues and targets for area or product line

● Strong engagement and communication skills as well as excellent negotiation skills

● Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment

● Strategic mind for generating new sales and experience in group presentations and proposal writing
